Acjuva

AcjuvaWhat Is Acjuva?

Based on the three step process and the packaging you may be thinking that this product is a generic version of Proactiv. I have to admit I thought the same thing. Proactiv is a pretty good product though so it was worth comparing the two, especially since Acjuva claims to be the best acne treatment on the market and promises to clear up your skin in 14 Days or your money back.

The main difference between the products, besides price, is the lack of harsh alcohols that tend to irritate the skin. Acjuva makes use of the more natural ingredients like tea tree oil, green tea, aloe vera, chamomile, and DMAE instead of benzoyl. So even though it looks similar you are actually getting a very different product that gets you the same result; clear skin.

What You Get

As I mentioned, Acjuva comes in a three part package of a cleanser, a renewing toner and a specialized lotion:

•    Acne Cleanser: This all-natural formula gently cleanses dirt and dead skin from your facial surface helping to get rid of current blemishes and prevent new ones.

•    Renewing Toner: The all-natural toner removes excess dead skin cells, unclogs pores and removes excess oil so your skin looks and feels refreshed.

•    Repair Lotion: The specially formulated, all-natural lotion safely moisturizes your face without clogging pores. It contains ingredients that heal blackheads and blemishes and help prevent future breakouts.

Based on the estimates provided by the Acjuva, this three part packet should last up to four months.

Downside

Although benzoyl has a tendency to dry the skin, it has also been long held as the most effective acne medicine. The more natural elements in Acjuva can be just as effective but they aren’t as well tested.

Upside

Not only do you get everything you would with a more expensive brand, you also get the benefit of an all-natural product that yields similar if not better results. You get a better price and it still contains some of the best acne fighting ingredients on the market including:

•    Tea tree oil
•    White willow
•    Green tea
•    Organic Aloe Vera
•    Hydronium 50 (H3O+)
•    Chamomile
•    Lavender
•    Redmond Clay
•    Calendula
•    Comfrey
•    Licorice root
•    DMAE
•    Honey
•    Hyaluronic acid
•    Vegetable glycerin

Conclusion

This is a good substitute for the commercial grade products marketed so heavily today. Getting all those celebrities to endorse your product isn’t easy or cheap but it doesn’t make the product any better. You get the same results with a product like Acjuva without paying the overhead associated with getting a pop star to endorse it. On top of that you get a product that makes use of natural ingredients shown to invigorate and rejuvenate the skin rather than irritate it. All in all, I think you get a lot more for your money with Acjuva than just about any other three-part acne treatment package out there.
